I stayed in Spain for a week = Me quedé en España una semana
to stay = quedarse (it's a reflexive verb)
Me quedo = i stayed
te quedas = you stay
se queda = he/she/it stays
nos quedamos = we stay
se quedan = you stay
se quedan = they stay
Hope that helps ;)
