"Did I make myself understood?" ((when one wants to mean: "Did you understand me? Was I clear enough? Was what I said clear?" )) Is this sentence a common expression in English or does it sound strange?
Thank you.

D**** ha tratado de escribirte a tu email y le rebota.

Ella también se quiere comunicar contigo, hasta pensó que había escrito mal tu email y por eso rebotaba.

Yo le enviado tu email para que ella verifique lo que tiene grabado y nada de nada, que puede comunicarse contigo, no se que pasa.

Ya le he dicho que estas tratando de comunicarte con ella,

Ojala puedan comunicarse mañana

Confírmame si tienes grabado el email de su trabajo en tu email.

Personally, I'm into Sindarin, the "conversational form" of Elvish. Most say the Lord of the Rings fad is dying, since it's been several years since the release of the New Line Cinema Triligy, but I refuse to believe it!

Also, it's been years since anything really huge has happened with Star Trek, is Klingon still popular?

Esperanto sounds cool, but I don't speak it. Do you?

I'm writing a story that's going to be read by American's more than anything probably. I usually stick with British words and spelling anyway, unless it's in dialogue, but I don't want readers to go 'huh?'.

So I wanted to know if Americans would use the word flannel in this use? A flannel here is like a cloth that you use to wash yourself. It's made from material similar to that of a towell but is of course smaller.

What would Americans use to describe a cloth you clean yourself with, if not? Just a 'cloth'? I don't want it confused with a cloth you would wash dishes or surfaces with.

Any help would be great, and if it's area specfic i'd just need the most general term. Thanks.

My German friend told me a guy told her "Du bis Doush" or something like that: "You are beautiful." But how do you spell the (doush) part? And if I wanted to add "very," how do you say that? I want to tell her that too!

I'm trying to translate the song "Mitternacht", by E Nomine. The lyrics are in a combination of German & (I think) Latin. I've got the German parts done but I'm not doing too well with the Latin parts, even with a Latin / English dictionary. The lines that I need are:
loca in ferna in nocte
animae in nebula
crudelitas animarum
media nox obscura nox
duo decies
campana sonat
Thanx for any & all help!
