Well, this is the American section of Yahoo!Answers - and it's actually an official rule written in the TOS that we're supposed to only use English here.

If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll see many little flags for different countries. If you click on one of them, you'll get to that country's section of Yahoo!Answers, where people are communicating in that country's language.

English is the only alternative left.....

english is my first language ... in my country we learn english starting from KG thats why i speak english ...i'm Egyptian :)

It is just the way it is typed because I live in America. . .I have seen other languages on the site, and I could not understand them (of course). . .It is all a default. . .Is that what you meant?
