Ok, i have a boy in my story, and he's the doorman. he calls to his fellow worker (this is in the renaissance) and says:

"Hey, BOy! Get Over here! I need to take our "Lady" here to the Treasurer."

The Lady is a poor woman just like the doorman, but she received an inheritance letter that she needs to turn in. it is meant to be portrayed as sarcastic.

I often use these words interchangably when making reference to a given thing, e.g. 'I'll have one of them/those'. In such a statement, which is grammatically correct/incorrect? Why?

"la" is the feminine and "le" is the masculine form. You get " LA vapeur" which is steam and you get "LE four" which is oven. I'm curious to know which words takes which form. Somebody please give me an answer.
