Hi,

I am looking for a good Japanese school in either Osaka or Nara, but not the Aplha school in Osaka. Can anyone recommended or know of any good Japanese schools in Osaka or Nara.

These are pretty popular:

And here is a whole list:

It really just depends on your prefered learning style and how lucky you are with the teacher you get. Ask some questions, observe some classes if they'll allow it and then just try it out for a month.

I assume you are already in Japan.
If that is the case, the best thing you can do is to ask someone who knows all about the details of those Japanese schools in the district.
As far as I know, there are a lot of Asian people nowadays at those schools in Japan. I am not so sure whether you don't care the atmosphere of the school where a bunch of Asian people is always hanging around together.

When in Rome, do as Romans do.
When you need certain local information, ask the locals.

Oh, by the way, I've found an interesting site. This might be helpful to you.

Good luck.

depends what kind of school you're talking about. If you're simply referring to a language school, then there aren't any in Nara that I'm aware of, but quite a few decent ones in Osaka. I personally would recommend Human Academy, as they are a new structure and very very flexible. The teachers tend to be more enthusiastic as well. However, YMCA has quite a reputation and it's the highest grossing language school in Osaka, if not Japan.
