I'm trying to translate the song "Mitternacht", by E Nomine. The lyrics are in a combination of German & (I think) Latin. I've got the German parts done but I'm not doing too well with the Latin parts, even with a Latin / English dictionary. The lines that I need are:
loca in ferna in nocte
animae in nebula
crudelitas animarum
media nox obscura nox
duo decies
campana sonat

humorous question, and significant too.. The Latin language of the Roman Empire lost out to new languages by potential of indigenous populations not Latin or replaced into so-stated as "Latinate" languages--French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Catalan etc. It replaced into final used b government officers and monks and the use replaced into replaced in maximum aspects by potential of English, German, the vulgate or many times-used varieties, etc. this is hard on latins, yet there are people who till learn it and used it--it must be the main commonly used lifeless language on planet Earth. i'm hoping it by no potential dies; i'm going to learn it alongside with Homeric Greek in my next lifetime. thank you for asking. celebrity coming.
