If I want to say "I feel like an idiot" would I say "me siento como una idiota." or would I say something else.

Also if I say "I like to joke but not about that." Would I say "Me gusta para bromear pero no sobre eso."

and "Why would you joke about that??" Would I say "Por qué bromeas para eso?" or am I way wrong?

Can you please help me correct these sentences?? Thank you sooo much! : )

Okay, I speak English very well. That's because I came to the U.S when I was 10 years old. The thing is, the more perfect I get to speaking in English, the more I forget my own language. I get anxiety when I'm around people from my country because they will start speaking the language and when I start to talk, I sometimes add few English words there and they look at me in a shameful way because I'm forgetting my own language.
