I've seen that more than a few times. Somebody calling someone else a "looser."

Sometimes I see "Morn!" I'm guessing it's an attempt at the word "Moron!"

Any other funny ones?

I was given an old plaque, it is black with a brass dove on it and the letters "PAX", I am assuming this is "Peace"? On the back is a label probably where it was made, this is what I would like translated, it is a little worn and difficult to read but it appears to read like this: "Uecho Por Los Monjes De Cuernavaca", (under this there is another mark with symbols on it and the word Mexico, that is why I am assuming it is from Mexico, maybe a mission?) Thanks for any help!

And don't even try to tell me that it's all typos - I'll only allow that for two or three words, depending on the length of the post - because I don't think that text message short-hand is accepted on college and job applications. Not all of you can be that incredibly stupid. wut? wat? whut? What? Their. They're. There. Here. Hear. Your. You're. Yore. agin. agan. again. exspeshaly. exspecilly. exspecially. especially. Now. Know. noe. no. do. doe. doen't. don't. dosent. doesn't. dosint. Could someone please clue me in? I know the difference. Why do I feel like the only one that does?

Okay, it just seems that every time I have to call for support, whether it be my credit card, internet, health care, etc. I always get some person who can barely speak English. What the heck is going on? Is it too much to ask that the "help" speak good AND proper English. Sheez...........I'm fed up!

I want to buy some type of book/cd/software to learn Mandarin Chinese. My focus is to learn conversational Chinese to where I can speak enough to try to converse in China when visiting. I plan to visit often for business in the next 6 months and may even transfer there. I know if I transfer there my speaking ability will increase but I need to learn some good basics now. Does anyone have experience with Rosetta Stone or something similar?

"He knows how to play the guitar, piano, and drums."

"He is the most talented person I know."

"I know that we will be friends forever."

Please do not translate via translation websites. They're not reliable.

Thanks!

Hi there! I'm from the southern U.S. and have a heavy country accent. My mom's boyfriend is from New York and sometimes he can't even understand me (but I can't understand him sometimes either, lol). What I'm afraid of is people judging me thinking that because I talk southern that I'm ignorant. What would you do? Do you think I should try to talk "less country" or just let people deal with it? Thanks for the help!
