i like the lilt of it and the upward inflection. (italian is more sonorous and french is throatier). i like th choppier sound of the english accent. i guess i like most accents.
there is something very attractive about the irish accent.

The American accent is made of English mixed w. Irish accents (bearing in mind there are hundreds of each distinct in themselves leading to at least 4 American sub accents) from when millions of the Irish emigrated during the potato blight and mass starvation.

It's sexy, none of that nasal twang to it, or a real southern drawl. They don't sound ignorant to us!
