Hello,

I am interested in peoples views regarding mixed relationships, in my case i am English and my beloved is Spanish. We both do not really speak each others language fluently so at times it is difficult. It is also quite difficult as i live in England and he lives in Spain. We text everyday and speak once or twice a week on the phone, but only see each other every couple of months. I guess at some point one of us is going to have to move to the others country-i would like to love in Spain. In the past i have been sceptical of long distance relationships, however with him it is different, i trust him 100% and we mean a lot to each other which is very lovely, particularly as i have never been "overly" trusting in the past. He is the one for me and is a wonderful person, however distance is a pain......anyone have a similar situation, any words of wisdom?! thanks!! :-)

OK, heard this on a course I was on today. It was mentioned in a Project management concept.

But... then someone said that it meant something completely different where he came from, which was Oxfordshire.

It's obviously rude - so can anyone explain - in not too crude a manner?

If you've ever been to a mall and overheard teenagers saying something similar to "I'm like, all, like, like that and like, stuff" before, then you know irritating it is.

I find it irritating too but I also find myself misusing the word "like" as well sometimes. How do I break the habit?

When I was in America, I often heard people say "Come on in" when telling someone to enter the room. Is it exactly the same meaning as "Come in"?
