I recently heard a teenager called something like "Chica-bing". Someone told me it is a spanish term for "little man". Has anyone heard this and is the translation correct?

I am sure that I am not spelling it correctly but that's the closest I could guess. I was told it is a common term for a young man in Puerto Rico.

chica means female but you should take the teens word for it.

maybe it was chiquitin... meaning a diminutive for chico, in this case the translation is ok, though chico alone is already "young man"
