The spanish word for I hope is "espero". I hope we are together for a long time would be "Espero que estemos juntos por mucho tiempo."
The spanish work for I wish is "deseo" which would be used the same as "espero" in the sentence above.

I hope = espero (pronoun not necessary)
I wish = deseo
Examples:
1- Espero que estemos juntos(as) por un largo tiempo.
OR
Espero permanecer junto a ti por mucho tiempo.
2- Deseo que podamos pasear juntos(as) el sábado.
Deseo que podamos andar juntos(as) el sábado
Spanish is very rich in words and there are many ways to say a sentence. I gave you the closest ones to your original version. Also, verbs in spanish take on gender. For example: you would use "juntos" if you are referring to a group of males, or a group of males and females, which always takes the masculine form. i hope we are together for a long time= Espero que estemos juntos por mucho tiempo.
i hope we can hang out on sat= Espero que podamos salir por ahí el sábado./Espero que podamos salir el sábado.
I wish= Yo deseo/Yo desearía/Yo quisiera.
In those two sentences you wrote, you can change Yo espero for Yo desearía. Although Yo espero is more definite than Yo desearía.

The previous answer is totally correct I would only change number 3 for: Yo DESEO que mis amigos y yo VIAJEMOS por todo el mundo. I am not sure why she added PODAMOS since the verb poder is not part of the original sentence. The rest is good.

esperar is the verb usually used in these situations.
And the verb in the subordinate clause is conjugated in the subjunctive.
For example: "I hope we are together for a long time." -> "Espero que estemos juntos por mucho tiempo."

I hope could be translated " (yo) espero que..."
I wish could be translated " (yo) desearía que..." or "ojalá que..."
" espero que" is mainly used to express optimism. Ex: Espero que le guste la cena( I hope she likes the dinner)
"desearía que" is mainly used to express opinions about things that are not likely to happen. Ex: Desearía que ella estuviera aquí ( I wish she were here)
and "ojalá" can be used to express opinions about things that are not likely to happen or to express optimism. Ex:
1) ojalá que llueva(" I wish it rained " somehow you are expressing optimism about the weather)
2)ojalá él pudiera venir("I wish he could come" )
