do u think we have to use such kind of words in our day to day talking....to swear indiscriminately.?..some people use it so frequently.....does it portray that ur a bad person? in just ur first meeting do u tend to like a person who doesnt include foul language in his/her conversation more or a person who uses it?

my family and I are american.Im mixed black and white my 8 yr.old is mixed and my 4yr.old foster is mixed but she looks white.She is very cute.Her sister is black.So all in all we are mixed.I asked the new neighbor girl.They are from Bosnia.Though I have not asked what her language is.They're nice people.

I just love to hear you guys talk. I think your accent is so pretty. I also enjoy reading books written by English authors. It is very interesting to read the different words we (Americans/British) use for the same thing, such as:
You say: We say:
Crisp Potato chip
Boot (of car) hood
nappy diaper
pram stroller

Okay, I need help with the proper way of saying these words. The dumbed-down phonetics (the dotted marks and backwards e's of the dictionary are not much help) makes it easier for me:

Sherbert (as in the fruity ice cream). Is it "sh-ur-burt" or "sh-er-bay" or... [insert your/correct phonetic way of saying it]

Bologna (the lunch meat). Why do some say "ba-lone-ee?" Is it "bo-log-na" or "bo-low-na" or... [insert your/correct phonetic way of saying it]

Lawyer (as in, the person with a law degree). Is it "loy-yer" or "lah-yer" or... [insert your/correct phonetic way of saying it]

Chipotle (the pepper). Is it "chip-pot-ul" or "chip-oat-lay" or... [insert your/correct phonetic way of saying it]

And the word fire. Is it one syllable or two? ("fih-er" "fyur")

During my graduate life, I served as a MIS in Xxx Trade Company and maintained the servers and network. Also, I was a tutor of Dept. of EE, National Central University teaching Digital Logic Design and Programming IC by using the 8051 chip and VHDL in Altera applications.

Either language is fine. Just teach me how to say the basic everyday things. It would be good if you taught me how to speak a couple of sentences just so I can communicate better with my grandparents and my family members in the Philippines.

Well, I know I can just search over on the internet but what I really want is a personal tutor that can teach me how to speak Filipino.
