I'm looking for a Latin word for "farewell" or "goodbye".

Some of the online sites gave me "valedico" or "vale"?

If you are speaking to one person: Vale.
If to more than one person: Valete.
'Valedico' is 'to say goodbye'. 'Ego vobis valedico.' 'I say goodbye to you.' (for more than one person).

Vale sounds about right.

There is "Aeternum vale" - Farewell forever

or

"Ave atque vale" - Hail and farewell.

Vale.

Ave is hello, Vale is goodbye.

Shalom is NOT latin.
