Gypsy is an ethnic classifictaion, they can come from many places however mostly limited to europe. They are by tradition a migrant people and so they spread through many places. I have heard of Eastern European Gypsys and Spanish Gypsys however I think that most anglo saxon countrys lack gypsys.

Gypsies aren't from any country specifically. Roma; as they prefer to be called, originally came from northern India and migrated to Eastern Europe. They were called gypsies, because it was originally believed that they came from Egypt. Of course, this was a mistaken assumption. So gypsy was originally a slur for people of Egyptian origin.

Because of their nomadic tendencies, Irish Travelers are also called gypsies, and they originate from Ireland.

Travelers and Roma have their own dialects, but they do generally speak the language of the country they are living in.

Originally, the gypsy people came from India. I think they are some of the Outcasts. They spread all over most of the known world. They speak their own language Romany and whatever languages they need to speak to get along in the countries they live in. So, they could be speaking anything anywhere.
