"gud"?
What the heck is that word?
Look - language, when used in the proper context, is appropriate for the circumstance.
For example - I'm driving in my car, obeying the law, the light is green and I proceed through the intersection.
They you come out from the side street run a red light and narrowly avoid crashing into me.
What do you think I'm going to say in that situation?
Right.
And I'll use a hand gesture as well.
Is it proper ("gud") for me to do that?
No, but considering the startling situation, it is to be expected that a person would have that kind of verbal outburst.
Now, for an inappropriate example:
I'm with my five-year old at a toy store.
You are in the next isle, talking on your cell phone (talking loudly, I might add).
In the course of your conversation, you casually use words like sh*t, f*ck, etc...
My son hears this, as I do.
This is not acceptable in a place where children are.
It really isn't acceptable in any public place to casually drop those kinds of words, because that kind of language is offensive.
Do I think people are bad because they use those kinds of words in casual conversation?
No.
Just ignorant.
And weak-minded, because they cannot come up with more creative forms of expression.
And I'd rather be around people that do NOT use foul language, just as I'd rather not be around smokers.
Both are offensive to my senses.
And that is my choice.

It's never OK to use those words.
I believe that a person who uses bad language and suggestive hand signals, is not ,truly in control of themselves, and has to show how big, bad, and dangerous they are, because they feel intimidated by someone's words or actions.
It would be better not to get angry at all .
Respect yourself, and others, and treat the situations/actions, with the most appropriate action that can deal with it.
Caring for others, compassion for all other people, and Respect will win out on the day most times.
Remember!! Practice makes perfect.

Those who use foul language are just ignorant and cannot choose a better word to use at the time. I'm guilty at times, but I don't cuss like a sailor...It's not necessary, really. I don't feel that I'm a bad person though because of choice words I use on occassion. I ask forgiveness, so I'll be alright...

People who usually use bad language all the time are trying to impress people and they only turn people off instead. There are much better ways to use language. Most of those who curse all the time usually have grown up with that as well everyone knows the words - it's your choice as to weather or not you use them.

Honestly, I find "bad words" overrated, overused, pointless, annoying and uncreative. Obviously there are plenty of other words in our language to use... I wouldn't label a person "bad" just for saying them, but it does make me want to find someone else to talk with!
