My x-husband tried hard to kill me, but he only succeeded in disableing me. Im in my fourth year of a battle with S.S.I. with appeal after appeal. Unable to work, and my beautiful boys, have picked all the peacans from the yard already just to pay our electric bill. Will it ever change for us? Will we ever just have a christmas full of joy instead of sorrow? Five christmas's and five brithdays now, and Nothing from their Father. No childsupport or alomony, even though its court ordered. Mom's shouldnt have it this hard. I have two wonderful children, whom deserve to have some of things other kids have, like bikes, and x-boxes but its not possible for me to give to them at this time. If I could work I would work 80 hrs a wk just give them the things they deserve. And this year, my 12 yr old was physically assaulted by a school teacher on his team, this child deserves so much love after the things he has been through. Does anyone care in this world anymore?

My sister and I are at odds over this. She says that since her daughter is afraid of Santa and that teaching about Santa takes away from the true meaning of Christmas (I agree so far) EXCEPT that she thinks it is okay to teach her daughter that Frosty The Snowman brings gifts to her on Christmas morning. I do not see a difference in teaching Santa or Frosty. She says that it is okay to teach Frosty brings the presents instead of Santa because Santa takes away from the true meaning of Christmas but Frosty doesn't. It doesn't matter to me if she teaches her Santa or Frosty as long as the true meaning is also taught (which is taught) BUT I don't see what the difference is between teaching who brings gifts on Christmas morning to boys & girls. What is the difference?

Do you love to wrap christmas presents every year that you can't stop or wish you have more to wrap. I love to wrap presents and I can't stop and I go nuts if I don't have anymore to do.. When you start wrapping your gifts. Do you wrap any blank box and put under the christmas tree for decorations.

I am not American.
I live in Africa, and here we do not have a Thanksgiving Festival.
What is it all about, and where did it start?
Sketch the tradition of Thanksgiving for me?
What are you Americans tankful about?
All these questions are really just one question.
A good answerer will answer them all in one explaination.

Well, I was thinking of which kind. Every year we always just choose from what is left.

This year I want to do a bit of research.

What would be the best based on how good it looks when decorated and how long it will last? There is also the problem of mess, but we can deal with that.

We usually keep our christmas tree until new years is finished.

Should it be the grand or the noble?

Does anyone know where to find those lighted archways that go over the driveway? Do you have to make them? I've seen a few, but can't find them.

And I don't know if they make this or not, but we thought it would be cute to have an inflatable Santa stuck in a chimney upside down with his legs kicking to put on our roof. Has anyone seen anything like that and know where ot find one?

for the past few years me + my hubbie have had Christmas at our place. my parents come, my younger brother, his girlfriend and my Aunt (go to my hubbie's family on Christmas Eve) well this year my younger brother decided that he is having Christmas at his house. well its not his house he rents with a friend. he didnt call and ask me if a i minded just decided he was having it.. because this year he is working and has money. unlike last year he showed up here and said i dont have anything for anybody cause i am broke and had to make my car payment.its not the lack of presents that i care about. it his attitude. when he has money he throws it around like its nothing and when he is broke he is the biggest jerk + every 1 should feel sorry for him.Well my question is do i have the right to be mad? i know it petty and we should just show up there.. but he should have gone about it better.+ i have a 14 month old daughter and his place isnt baby proofed + i have lug all her stuff in the cold
