What do you put on the top of your christmas tree...anything unusual???

We switch between an angel and a star.
Then I have 2 white doves right below that.
One year when Beanie Babies were the big thing and my daughters had about a hundred of them, we used them on the branches of the tree for the decorations. It was really cute.
We don't have a tree this year. I had the big idea to get a prelit tree and it had fiberoptics, really nice but it was so heavy it took 3 people to put it up. So I gave it away just a couple weeks ago. Then last year no one would help me take it down and I broke the leg trying to do it myself.

Well we have three Christmas trees thoughout our house.
The main/biggest one usually has the flashiest (think...Las Vegas) star on top I could ever think of. But I like it because i like a lot of lights on Christmas.
The second one has Santa Clause.
And the tree in my room last year it had Betty Boop on it, this year I might put Mickey, or MInnie, or just an Angel on it.

well, we have 2 trees. on the Christmas tree, we put a star made in the shape of a Star Fish, with ribbons with shells attached to them hanging from the bottom. On our Jesus tree, we decorate it with only white, silver, or gold ornaments, and also ones associating with God or Jesus. On the top, we put three angels my sisters and I made when we were VERY little; they are made of toilet paper rolls. But they mean a lot to us! MERRY EARLY CHRISTMAS!!! =3

A star - but when it comes to unusual, it doesn't get moe strange than david Letterman's tree topped with pizza, a huge meatball and marinara sauce.

A star my husband made for me out of old barb wire. We are a rodeo family living on a ranch. My tree is done with all cowboy/western ornaments. My son and his family put an old beat up cowboy hat on top of their tree.

It's not unusual. I place an angel on top of my tree.It's for a good friend that I lost at church. It's hard to put God on top of your tree as he is a spirit, but I know God is everywhere.Take care.

we have a big clear angel spread out long ways like she is flying with the translucent glitter on it but my mom broke it getting out of storage this year so we will have to find something new if she cant be fixed.i was said because me my hubby bought it for our first christmas together five years ago.

We used to put an angel but its head fell off so now we put a glittery, gold star.
