I've had the same old gold angel for years but like 'I'm an angel' popped into 'Wilkinsons' for one thing(?!) - they've got some really attractive 'different' things and quite cheap - so I bought a new gold angel but I can't bring myself to throw away the old one, nor all the bits and pieces the kids made over the years.
Who knows I may see something else in Benidorm next week(which is about 500 miles from Lloret, Bex-both places great fun!)
In my house, by the way, it's 'Happy Christmas'- 'Happy Holiday' is what I have at the seaside.
I thought Afro may have said she had a bottle of rum and a passport on top of hers!

Since my kids were babies I have always put an angel. I wanted them to remember the true meaning of Christmas and that seemed to help along with my beautiful Fontanini Nativity scene I set out every year. I will continue still with that and with my angel even though my kids are grown and on their own as I spend my first Christmas with my sweetheart, the man I love.

For sentimental reasons, I have a really tatty old angel on the top of mine. Looks a bit out of place on the super duper fibre optic tree we brought a couple of years ago but I don't care the Angel is there to stay !!

for years now i would have to the about 30 years, i have always had angels love them, but last year had a change funny enough it was yesterday, went to but a new tree got one last week, but it was crap you had to build it so it has sat in the box for a week, i wanted a white one just had living room done, and thought it would look better, got to shop had to go in to wilkos, had get a few bits as you walk in, they had a black tree all set up it looked lovely then, i had angel in my ear , that's the you should get that one, so i did weren't too bad £25 fibre optic one, so she is happy so we got a sliver star for the top i don't think a fairy would go some how .

Well we have two an angel and we also have a fat fairy! My daughter went out with day centre to pound shop one year and brought this fat fairy home we laughed so much especially when I said it looked like nanny.
She nodded and laughed so this year with her not being here it will stand pride of place fat fairy on top of tree in her honour.

We always put an angel up there. I think it's the same angel we have been using for as long as I can remember.

I will be spending my first Christmas with my sweetheart this year and we will have an angel on top which represents what Christmas is all about which is the birth of Christ our Lord.
