what are u gonna be for halloween? i am debating on either a greek/roman costume or a hogwarts student. i will be from hufflepuff.

I am on a very tight budget and wanted to get ready early and have some ideas for gifts for ages 3 yrs old boy and 6 & 7 yr old girls to a 14 yr old boy to adults (family and friends) Please someone help me with some ideas for this year so I can start now...lol Thanks

ok, i have built my own design of a fog chiller in a garbage can, i had to use 5" duct instead of 4" because menards was out, but i have a 1000 watt Constant fog machine, (It will go for 6 hours nonstop) but i cannot seem to get the fog to get chilled enough, i have 2 Motts apple juice containers (about 14 inches tall and about 5 1/2 inches thick) as 2 of my ice chunks, then i have a 1 gallon milk jug anda 1 gallon milk jug for the other, i can slide them into to middle of the tubing and get teh pipes cold, but they do not get it cold fast enough, i would like some suggestions on what to do for this, also i would like any halloween ideas for going to a campground and taking an RV out there, and using the rest of the campsite for decorations.

Since we will be fasitng, what do you suggest? She will InshaAllah be having a "princess" party. Her brothers just had theirs and she is really looking forward to this. Should we just wait it out or should we have it late and break fast? (it is on the 10th of Oct.) Any ideas would be great, Thanks

It's not being said to people as an insult, so why can't people who don't celebrate Christmas just let it go? I could care less if someone said "Happy Hanukkah" to me. I guess I just don't understand why people are so bent out of shape about it. It's ment to be a nice, pleasant thing. Well, if it creates controversy someone's gonna whine about it.

Halloween is coming up, and I'd like to set up an illusion on my porch to hand out candy. I'd like to do "Thing" from The Addams Family. I know the illusion won't be perfect, but I know it can be done, probably with mirrors. It has to be a real person, real hand, just appearing disembodied. Any ideas?

I have a great idea for a halloween costume this year but it requires me to be a black person and I'm white. I need to cover my face and both arms from shoulder to fingertips. What could I possibly use? Shoe polish was suggested but that would be one hell of a mess. I think the spray on tan makes you look orange so that won't work either. Please help!

My wife and I are free thinkers who both have a firm faith in God and were raised Christian. We are no longer Christians and go to the UU church. We have 5 childerewith ages from 7years to 3.5 months. This year we have decided to not just celebrate Christmas. We only celebrate it in a secular way now and figured why not teach our kids respect and tollerance or other religions and cultures by showing them first hand a little about the holidays they celebrate. Other then the standard American-Christian holidays of Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years what holidays do you suggest we include in our holiday season this year and what would be the best way to celebrate the holiday to teach our childeren about the culture it is from in a respectful way. Also if you know how Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are celebrated in different countries or cultures I would love tohear about that as well.
