you do not have ta be that talented. buying costumes is a waste of money (unless you plan on wearing the same costume every year) and they arent as original! perhaps you could get a part-costume or something. like a reali simple costume base (not too much) and get some hallooween accesories @ party pig/ party place.

goodluck

P.S actually the Party Place and always Walgreens/walmart has good costumes, and a wide selection too.

Well, I am the same, not creative and not handy at all, so I buy online and sell it after Halloween on ebay ;-), it's easy enough and it does not cost me much anway.

I am keeping track of some of the most popular costume ideas, so here it is (you can search for these using the link below):
- Movies: V for Vendetta, Pirates of the Caribbean (Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swan, Davey Jones), Scarface, Kill Bill
- Super Heroes: Batman, BatGirl, Superman, SuperGirl, Catwoman, Spiderman, WonderWoman, Mr and Mrs Incredibles, Fantastic 4, X-Men
- Renaissance & Medieval: Tavern Wench, Peasants, King, Queens
- Greek and Egyptian Costumes
- 20's, Flapper, Moulin Rouge and Gansgter costumes

There are so many!!

I am thinking of wearing a costume to work this year. Usually, I don't. I was thinking of going as a chef or a waiter.

For a waiter, you can wear dark pants, white shirt, tie, and maybe a black vest and a white apron.

For the chef, almost the same thing- dark pants, white shirt/jacket and apron. You could check costume shops for hats!

I don't have much imagination as far as costumes go. I am really not that into dressing up for Halloween.

Hope you get some good ideas.

You could go as Monica Lewinsky.. and put a stain on your black dress, your date could be the Clinton...

Okay, bad joke, but you'll definitely be the talk of the party.
