Is there any point in it? I believe it is too commercialised and card companies charge you a fortune!! I think that you shouldnt buy your loved one a present because you feel obliged to, you should spoil them when you want to.

Winter or Summer?

Personally i like the winter, cuddled up on the couch with a blanket, hot chocolate and the fire on while it is pouring with rain outside.

This is actually a commit of concern to see if people who decorate think of this issue.

Did you know that the strobe lights you use for scary themes can cause someone to have a seizer?

Its true. My daughter is one and she loves dressing up for Halloween. I just wanted to see if anyone thought of this when they use a strobe light. So if you do this for Halloween or any type of party and you involve kids (even adults too) make sure you tell them strobe lights are involved so that their child is safe. This concern can also be useful when you have a party and a diabetic is invited. You want them to enjoy safe foods wouldn't you?

I don’t want to ruin your fun. I just want people to understand something they may not have known. I had to do the same in business that had lights blinking because they were about to go out and the blinking lights in a store are just as bad. I just want my daughter to live like other kids and enjoy the same fun.

...Yes...It's Friday!! Annnnd...It's Also Official "Sit-On-Your-Friend's-Butt Day"!!
So grab a seat on the nearest butt you can find...(preferably, for most of you), your friend of the opposite gender, and relax!

My son & my niece are 4 days apart in age. While they are still too young to protest (lol) my sister & I dress them alike for Halloween. Their first Halloween, they were Mickey & Minnie Mouse, last year, they were Peter Pan & Tinkerbell. Does anyone have any cute "couple" ideas for this year? We were thinking 50s Sock Hop, but while it is cute for a girl, it is not much of a costume for a boy. I live in the South so the weather will likely be warm.

I'm a college student looking to go out in my costume and consume "beverages" and hopefully get some laughs. But I want it to be really creative. A few years back I was Li'l Jon - that one was pretty good. Maybe a character in a movie, some sort of pop culture reference or a figure from a hilarious news story/event that happened in the past year. I'm going for comedy more than horror. Any help is appreciated :-).

I'm looking for a plush or stuffed, pitchfork or trident, preferably black, red or both. It's for my infant sons Halloween costume. I have looked everywhere. I checked ebay, hottopic, spencers gifts, some novelty shops, and every costume place there is. They have big plastic ones but that isn't what i want. It has to be small and like a stuffed animal.
Links to online stores would be great. Thanks.

I'm probably going to be responsible for passing out candy this year, and I was thinking of wearing a costume that the kids would be able to guess.

I'd like to be something/someone from pop culture, not something generic like a witch or a clown.

Any suggestions of pop culture icons that are easily recognizable to kids (ages 4 to 12) that I could be for Halloween?
