Ok my ideal menu starts with breakfast at my side of the family with Pancakes, bacon, ham and sweet rolls. Then move on to my husbands side for Lunch consisting of ham, mashed potatoes, corn, jello, pies, cakes and cookies. Then back to our house for dinner which is any leftovers we managed to score from the other two houses.

We don't have dinner food we have appetizers (finger foods), that's been are tradition for years. It's a lot of fun because someone comes up with new recipes every year. And it's the only time of year that we have chestnuts wrapped in bacon. Now I can't wait for Christmas. We also have little pigs in the blanket, bbq little sausages, stuffed mushrooms, chicken wings, shrimp, and much much more.

Hi. I saw your question and it brought back sooo many memories. I know this is a wierd answer, but when I was a little girl my mother and I were so poor we used to have our special Christmas dinner be Hamburger Helper. We would sit together wearing little homemade paper crowns and eat our hamburger and noodles. I can still smell it. It was wonderful for Christmas because she was there.
