I hope you mean for a dog! I knew a couple girls named Princess (or Angel!) and they were all anything but! I think with a name like that, you grow up feeling entitled and become spoiled and eventually a b!tch!

All through her life, whenever she introduces herself, some people might bow or curtsy, which could be rather nice, but possibly a bit embarrassing, and would make them feel foolish; whenever she excuses herself some small-minded person will mention "the princess and the pea", and snigger.

I think it is a nice pet name for your girlfriend or wife, but as an actual name to be christened with I personally think it is a little over the top.
It is more of a name to be used for someone you find special and to be used by you towards said person only.
IMPO (its what I call my wife)

this isn't any longer Fairy princess/queen and so on... this is carefully incorrect expertise and it is going from Titania in Shakespeare's "Midsummers Nights Dream" ( I and then A). many females confuse Tatiana and Titania and start to have self assurance that they are fairy princesses. notwithstanding this isn't any longer actuality. additionally 2 women from Russian emperor kin had those names: Princess Tatiana Konstantinovna of Russia and her distant cousin Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaevna of Russia. many females authmatically think of: they have been princesses, we are princesses too. notwithstanding it is likewise incorrect. kin of Russian emperor used many different women's names: Ekaterina, Maria, Elizabeth and so on... Do those names authomatically recommend "princesses/queens"? Definetely no. The beginning of the call derived from the Roman call Tatianus, which grew to become into derived from the Roman prolonged kin call Tatiuslous. Tanya is one in each of diminutives for Tatiana in Russian language. After wave of immigrants from Russian empire to the Western international locations on the commencing up of 20 century this call grew to become standard worldwide and started out for use separately from finished call Tatiana.

Forget it. It's not a name, it's a title to which most people are not entitled.
It might be OK for a dog or cat though.
