I can't stand people who lack tact. Especially people who are tactless in their insults. You know what I am talking about, those people who subtly insult you and not think twice about what they said. Sheesh, some people need to learn some manners. Idiots.

I'm going to my best friend's sister's graduation party (I normally never talk to her but their mom invited me to be a greeter and yeah..)..

Is it normal etiquette to bring gifts in these situations?

Once in a while when I'm at Padre Island, I'll take a nude stroll on the shore, but it's always at nighttime, when families/kids are almost certain not to be around, and on an area of the beach that not too many people
are at when I do it. Sometimes another nighttime beachcomber or couple strolling by sees me, and so far no one has said anything negative. One young man told me to "put on a thong at least, man" but not in an aggressive tone. I am pleased at the tolerance I've encountered.

A co-worker/friend borrowed $200 four weeks ago to tide her over until payday. She still has not paid me back but has talked about it. How should I approach this? What is a polite way of reminding her. This is so awkward. I never thought this would come up. Please help.

Okay so your in your downtown area of your city right, you come across a nice restaurant with your lady/guy whichever applies... But your not hungry, but your other is... You decide to go into the place and get a table for yourselves... Now the waiter comes and only your other orders right... She asks if you would like something, you say no... So the food comes and it looks good and you want to try it but dont want a big plate... Is it considered bad taste to have my lady slide the plate over for me to eat from it? And lastly, when i asked her for the price of the canned cokes, she told me 2 dollars, and i didnt say anything, but when she came back she told me she would just give me one... I got really upset because i thought she was thinking i was too poor to take the 2 dollar charge, and this wasnt the case.... Any ideas?

I know that some restaurants that are Japanese are not run by Japanese people. I'm not being insensitive, but how do you tell? I'm half asian and I can't tell Korean from Japanese. In language or people.

Well to start off i'm 14, but a very young 14, theres a bully in my class, and apparently he makes fun of me becuase he"
thinks" i'm immature, but personally, i don't feel that I am. I'm polite, i alwasy say please, thank you, excuse me , I treat people with equality if they do so back to me. etc, i'm not exactly a very silly person all together i know when to be serious and when not to be, i usually do well in school 85% + , i don't make fun of people, becuase i know whats its like. And this bully thinks i'm immature, basicly he throws stuff at people, makes fun of them, and pushes people around,he drinks and what not, so the question is, Am I immature?

people are just fat because they are lazy, don't care about themselves, have no personal hygiene, and just eat bad food all day long?

I am sure there are people out there like that, but why generalize that all people that happen to be overweight choose this path? Who, other than someone completely INSANE choose to be treated like ****, made fun of everywhere you go, never get dates, be overlooked and abused and have it assumed that you are disgusting?

I was watching BB, the other Night when one of the housemates called another housemate a ''n*****''(apparently she was not being racist, but the word was not necessary to use at all). She got kicked out the house for her actions. I don't believe that a name that people used to beat you with can become a term of endearment (even between black 'yes even if it is spelt with an 'a'). But seriously don't people realise that once you say something, and it offends people you can't take it back, by making excuses for yourself. Why don't people think b4 they speak????? Especially if you have a wider audience????? Let me know your views, is it ok to say something, and then excuse yourself when it call goes wrong (regardless of if you meant to offend or not).

I spent too long in one position, so I am giving in to a nice stretching and a comfy couch. I would really like to meet some of the people I have observed, exchanged, and even chased after to impart my opinion in hopes of changing a mind or two. I have been forced to look at other people's ideas and thought it would be entertaining to have a large group over for the heck of it. Good food, stimulating conversation, and a few bouncers for some that have not learned their manners. What have you got to contribute? You know some about what I believe and I would want a lot of laughs[most necessary for my clan] but some deep, serious talk as well.Southern pulled pork with my sauce is my specialty, but I keep Kosher for my Jewish friends, and would not offend any food laws intentionally for the sake of peace.

Im a junior in high school and I wear eyeliner. No other make up just that. I'm not gay, and I'm not "emo" in the stereotypical sense. Girls at my school absolutely love it, and they joke about me being 'metro' but its all in good fun.
Now the guys are a totally different story. Out of my clique of friends, which is quite big, only two other guys wear eyeliner. One has rockstar mentality, the other is emo in every sense of the word. I just like the way it looks on me. But a lot of the guys at my school, even some on my waterpolo team, almost hate me for my eyeliner. I've been called every homosexual related insult there is, and last week I got into a fight with someone over it.
A fight, with an almost complete stranger, because I wear eyeliner. Am I the only one that thinks that's RIDICULOUS
