I'd say $25.00 for someone you aren't close to. I do like the suggestion that was made of $20.07 since they graduated in 2007!

I would offer 50.00 as a primary standard to a graduation gift,whether its someone you know well or otherwise. you wre invited to a party afterwards for the celebration,and it would be great etiquette to at least offer this amount.
