Nothing in life is FREE. They expected some kind of a donation for whatever cause they were having the car wash for. Hey if you got a deal and didn't have to pay 12 bucks , go for it.

Absolutely!
They probably were doing a fundraiser where people pay them based on how many cars they washed.
It's still a nice gesture to hand them a few bucks for their efforts too though.

I dont think i would have got my car washed by them. If you did though they probably want a tip and i think you should give it to them
