I seem to be one of those rare ladies who doesn't know much about weddings. Am I supposed to buy a wedding present for my future husband? I'm happy to do so, just not sure if I understand that tradition right. And if so, what kinds of things do people give as gifts?

My friend's neighbour's dog continually craps in her garden and the neighbour doesn't seem bothered by this whatsoever (I think he actually trained it to use their garden as a toilet). She'd had enough and last night she finally cracked. She got a shovel and scraped it up and posted it through his letterbox as it's his property. Trouble is, the neighbour has gone on holiday for the weekend and is due back tonight. Has she gone too far or did she do the right thing? The smell in his house will be incredible when he returns..............

The whole of Africa, Middle East, South Asia and the Far East goes to the loo and then washes up with water.

If the Western world switched over from toilet paper we could save millions and millions of trees. Minimsing deforestation would greatly help the effort to stave off global warming and save our planet.

Will you make a beginning ?

My BF and I were debating this. He says it is insulting to the restaurant to walk out without ordering if we go to a place for the first time and discover it's very pricey. Sometimes it's hard to tell what it will be like until we go inside. I think it's okay to be honest with the server and just say it's more expensive than we budgeted for. What do you think? What is the correct ettiquette, if the menu is not posted at the door?

I was sitting in our staff coffee/common room for morning break. Someone brought in a packet of biscuits. Just because I refused to eat one - they all think that im picky.

On another occasion - someone brought in some Swiss chocolates - which I ate a piece.

Now most of the work colleagues think I only go for whats good - prim and proper..

One of them actually called me a perfectionist.

Sometime when I catch the public transport - there are lower class/slobbish people on the buses. The way they talk, behave...I feel so out of place. I feel so much better than them and feel like Im in a dump.

Do you feel like that too?

I am female with a BSc honours degree and I am about to embark upon an MBA masters degree in October.

Majority of people travelling on buses dont even have any qualifications...and you get some awful smelling ones too. They have no manners like 'thank you' when you let them pass..etc

I was just wondering if anyone else noticed the amount of questions listed on here that are either missing entire words or misspelled or just all jacked up grammar wise?? If you can't put the question up there in a way that we can really get your meaning, how do you expect us to answer them?? It is not that hard to do especially when Yahoo offers the "check spelling" tool.
