Er, well that depends, why do you want her to stop? What would you rather her do? O_o You can request it, but it is her bed too. ^^;

Give her the computer and you go to bed..................
I loved to read and since I was a child I used to read in bed every night, just a few pages before going to sleep.When I got married I wanted to read a page or two on the odd night but my darling husband found the bedside lamp distracting. I change the lamps several times and even tried the tiny clip-on light attached to the book but it was still too bright for him. Actually I tell a lie...He said the clip-on reading light was ok and that I could read, but every time I turned a page he would flump about as if I had disturbed him.He took the good out of it as I was holding my breath and turning the page as though I was hiding from a murderer, so I gave up. Then La La La La I got a computer and here I am in another room and can go where I like while he sleeps in our bedroom to his heart's content. When I am sleepy I will go to bed. My beautiful books are unread now but at least I have this. And I never asked him to change in any way. So don't be so selfish. Let the woman read it may prevent a stress related heart problem later.

well, if the light on disturbs you then, get a dimmer or a type of lighting system that lights up only her part of the bed.
If you're asking this question because she avoids sex by reading then perhaps spice things up by offering to give her a nice foot massage while she's reading, give her a light tickle while you're doing it, and by doing so, she'll gently be coaxed in a giggling sort of way, to take note of you. Alternatively, write her little love notes, or naughty ones, and place them inside where her bookmark is, draw naughty pictures on your note, or cute little hearts, just silly things that will make her giggle or smile) detailing exactly what you'd like to do to her, and leave your phone number (or a cheeky note saying that your address is...the other side of the bed) she obviously needs some or other witty or intelligent comment to stimulate her mind, so what are you waiting for? check online for witty or cheeky comments somewhere (nowadays you find anything and everything online). Good luck!

Is there a reason she reads in bed? Is that the only place she enjoys reading? Have you asked her notto read in bed? Does she use it to go to sleep?
Let her know that you want to massage her feet and calves one night while she reads. Use a nice lotion of hers so the movement is free and smooth. Give her at least 15 minutes per leg. She will enjoy the sensation, relax and maybe opt for the massage and you a couple of nights per week instead of reading.
Ask her to read in the living room so you can sleep in the bedroom at least two nights per week. Compromise.

Why stop her? Just try to get used to it. If it really bothers you a lot you can make an agreement with her about every other night being a reading night and every other night a non-reading night. That's what my parents do.

Maybe she reads in bed at night because she doesn't have time to read during the day? if this is so, you could try helping her out around the house etc. to lighten her load so that she can read for a while before bedtime.

really want to stop her reading or you're just annoyed that her thoughts aren't entirely foccused on you? have you ever tried to make her renounce reading giving her a good reason? it sounds a little sexist thinking that she has a right on that bed, too. after all watching boxing or a football game seems to be the same when your wife wants you to do something else (caressing her for example???)

Remove the light bulb from her reading lamp, if your asking cos she doesn't give out, then you are at fault!
Maybe, she need to read to help her forget, or relax? Maybe you could start to read yourself and try to enjoy the experience and stop thinking about your middle leg!

First you gently kiss her on the wrist. Then, the inside of her elbow... working your way up to her mouth and then... you completely and totally take the place of that book. You see, whatever she's reading is prolly more exciting than her real life. Thats why she's reading it. Sooo, you become more exciting than that book.
