Now, personally, I've not known women of any age who don't want a fan on when it's hot, perferably directly on them. In cool weather, or in between, perhaps because they get chilled. On a more serious note, there are some medications that impair the ability to sense heat, so that a sweltering hot room seems entirely okay, and a normal one seems cold. Where did you meet these ladies?

Lol...good question. I agree with the post about the body temp. My grandma gets cold very easily, so she prefers not to have a fan on, but A/C. When the fan blows on her, it makes her too cold. I don't think it has anything to do with wigs or anything, just personal comfort.

I actually, like fans. But I guess some older women get too cold, from fans.

They don't like it to blow their hair is all. I have noticed that this is not in the normall every day women but is normally in the uper class types that work in offices.

Most older women are on an asprin a day, and their blood is thinner, and they are colder by nature because of it.

maybe they are afraid their hair-do will be blown off and spoiled??
I don't. I love fans (maybe because I'm not old?!)

as older as one gets they lose their patience, and as you know having fans means signing biographies, among other activities.
