Wow you must feel like everyone is watching your every move there. Don't they have anything better to do than to judge everything you do? Maybe you are mysterious to them and when you do something they are just trying to figure out who you are.

I don't see what this has to do with what you refuse or accept to eat. Maybe you need to look a little deeper at yourself to see what they're talking about. Maybe they're just teasing you. Even if you are a perfectionise, there's nothing wrong with that. I certainly am a perfectionist and the only thing i've found difficult is learning to let other people do things differently from how I would have done them. Try not to worry so much though!

Being a perfectionist, and being picky are two separate attributes. Maybe it's not the fact that you refused the biscuit, but the manner in which you refused it. Maybe you should try bringing in a treat for everyone, that might mend fences with your work colleagues. You need to work with these people on a daily basis, don't set yourself apart. Here's a tip: Always take what's offered, even if you don't eat it. You can always toss it in your trash when they're not looking.

There is nothing wrong with being a perfectionist, you want everything to hve its place and everything in its place.
The fact that you didn't eat a chocolate doesn't necessarily make you a perfectionist.
To strive for the best is a good thing (as long as you do not go over the top with everything), so do not let anyone put you down.

I get called a perfectionist all the time and you know what, I so don't care, by opting to go for one type of snack instead of the other does not a perfectionist make, neither does it mean you are picky, it just means you have the right to choose what you want, when you want and basically that is called life.

There is nothing wrong with being called a perfectionist. If anyone has a problem with it then it's THEIR problem not yours. Eat what you want and be as 'prim and proper' as you want to be. What you do is your business and not that of the people you work with. They obviously have issues of their own...

that makes no sense. Why would they think your a perfectionish just because you did not eat a biscuit? I am guessing you just don't like biscuits, so you politely declined the offer. A perfectionist is someone who tries to make EVERYTHING perfect, that is very different from you not eating a biscuit!

in my vast experience of people, there is no such thing as a perfectionist , the trait does not exsist , my reasoning behind that statement is logical, man is not perfect in his thinking, we all of us have flaws that is the one thing we can say with certainty that no two people think the same, we are individuals ergo no one can be a perfectionist. however it is a goal we set ourselves we strive for perfection , which is unatainable, your perception of what is a perfectionist may not be mine, (theres that individuality again) if i was able to access your staffroom and observe you i would come to a different opinion than that of your collegues, probal;y
. on a more serious note i would have assessed your refusal on taking a bickkie, as to personal choice, had the bickkies in question been hob nobs, it would have made me radically think about your personality, as you are no doubt aware hob nobs are the sas of dunkers. and is regarded as a heretical act to fefuse one. regards LF

I wouldn't say that makes you a perfectionist. A perfectionist is someone who wants everything in perfect order (duh) and gets annoyed when something is out of place.
You could be picky with food, or you might not have been hungry, or like me, can't be bothered eating biscuits because of all the chomping.

People assume a lot of things about others. It often takes very little for someone to be labelled by others. Those people are just being silly for assuming stuff. With time they'll find out they're wrong.

Beats me especially since you typed im for I'm. A perfectionist would have spell checked there(their) response and then checked it again.
