Not trying to start a fight, just wondering if a positive stereotype is a racist comment.

I want to ask an older Japanese woman for help in something, but I don’t know her really well, and wondered if there was a tradition of offering an older person something upon meeting them, or speaking to them, and if so, what is the offering? For example, when meeting some Native Americans (especially my people) you can offer them tobacco or if I know them then I offer something I know they want or need. I already know about bowing, but wondered if there were also gifts as tradition and etiquette.

I am often interrupted when speaking whether it be from the person I'm speaking with or from another person who just barges in and starts talking about whatever they feel the need for.
I say it is disrespect and that the speaker is seen as insignificant but I'm told it isn't, that it is just rude. What's your opinion?

You're at a restaurant with a party of 6 and your waitress ends up mixing up your plates. Nothing too serious, she got the right food, just gave it to the wrong person.

Do you get annoyed? How should she win you back over?

Do things change if you're in a party of two?

When you are at a restaurant/cafe and you are being waited on, name at least one and no more than three qualities you look for that will sway a big(er) tip in their favor.

As in, a close friend says they're doing such and such with so and so, and you ask, "Can I join?"

What is the latest you will call someone or be civil when someone calls you? Do you even have a rule?

For instance, the absolute latest I will pick up the phone is 7pm but am generally not happy when someone calls that late.

What is the rule in your household? Does the rule change if you have a cellphone?

Food had been regularly disappearing from the refregerator at work, labeled with people's names. A coworker gets transferred temporarily to another office for two months. The missing food problem stops. She comes back and it starts again. I go into the lunch room and she is munching down an ice cream sandwich and furtively tosses something in the trash. After she leaves I check the trash and in it is a label with a different coworker's name. I find out later that coworker had not eaten her ice cream sandwich (left from an office party) and didn't know it was gone. If I tell anyone, the food thief will know who told. She is a higher ranking employee than I am. What do I do?

I have frequent sexual fantasies about my Pastor. He has a wife and kids and he says that homosexuality is wrong, but I can't deny how I feel about him. When he was on a trip recently, he trusted me to water his plants and feed his cat. When I was at his house, I tried on some of his clothes and took a pair of his dirty underwear out of the hamper. I like to bury my face in his underwear and inhale his scent as I pleasure myself. Should I tell him what I have done? I am afraid that he will not forgive me and that he will throw me out of the church, and I especially don't want to have to give the underwear back. I'm so confused. What should I do?
