do women still like to be treated like ladies?

i was brought up to treat all women like ladies,open car doors pull out there chair,bring flowers and open the door for them .it seems to me that this concept is dieing i thick that this is sad what do you think.i have always enjoyed being a gentleman.

I would looooooove to meet you.I must say that sometimes a girl does feel like a guy sees her as inferior when he treats her like lady and that is a very wrong mindset.I have guy friends who treat me like a lady and I totally enjoy it-if only more guys in the world were like you.I have decided that if I ever have boys I'm raising them like your mom raised you.Thanks for the question and keep being the gentleman you are.One day a special LADY will appreciate it

You should never stop being a gentleman and treating the woman you're with like a lady!! I for one like to be treated like a lady ............ no not all the time but when you are dressed up and going someplace fancy its really nice but also politeness of opening doors for ladies and letting ladies go first thru doors - that I see has been lost in today's society.
I notice a man more favorably when he's acting politely.

Do you really like being a 'gentleman' or do you just not know any other way of doing things? Times are changing and that stuff is out of date and boring. Think about it, why can't a woman open her own door? Why do women want you to give them some plant? Personally I tend to open doors because I'm usually the first one to get to the door and its just force of habit for me to hold it for whoever is coming out next(be it a man, woman, or complete stranger). But I also don't think I should have to go out of my way to do that just because its someones arbitrary definition of 'treating them like a lady'.

Trust me,this woman LOVES being treated like a lady,AND i do say THANK YOU when a door is opened for me,AND I REALLY DO MEAN that THANK YOU! Done ever give up being a gentleman because even if there are few of us women out there,we do so appreciate it GREATLY! Often we women think there are NO GENTLEMEN out there,so PLEASE! DONT STOP!

and if you should be in the company of a female who does not want or appreciate this quality, then maybe you can explain why you do this, and encourage her to be more of a person with good manners, and to not be so crude, or independent,

the romance, and whole experience is so much more meaningful when effort, is put into it,
just remember you get what you settle for,
so don't throw away your values for anyone,, just be who you are, and i promise, you will attract the same,

And we women love you men for it. We really love your parents for the work they did on behalf of all womankind! If men would be and do more of all you listed, women would expect it and not consider it the exception. So, yes, sweetie, please continue to do all that "stuff" and be a gentleman, regardless of the lady's reaction, that is also a skill that has to be taught, how to be a lady, so girls, when you run across a man who does this stuff for you, tell him "thank you" don't ask him "what u do that for, or say "I can do it myself". Just let him do it, smile and say "thank you" and if you are really diggin him, a little smooch on his cheek wouldn't hurt either. You'll reap the benefits, trust me:) And when you ask him, ask him sweetly, to move a sofa, he'll just do it!

I wonder the same thing and I try the same to be as you.
I have read all kinds of books,I have dated all kinds of ladies,culture etc and dont see it much anymore either.
I ask alot of questions to see what women like to try to figure this question out too...
seen to many hurt and messed up that they feel men are all alike and we dont care to be good men well some still do

I don't like to be treated like "lady". It is kind of humiliating. I am not a child, I can open door for my self. I like more equal relationship, intellectual challenge from man... It is true that I would like from man to buy me materialistic things, gifts... But I trained my man to be equal with me, that means I have to give up all expensive gifts man buy to women. And be independent.

I love to be treated like this, and I think it's sad when men are rude and don't hold doors, offer their seat on a crowded train, etc. Makes me wonder if their mother never taught them any manners.
