I actually enjoy going out of my comfort zone and try to do it routinely because it forces me to think on my feet and eventually makes my comfort zone bigger. Having a bigger comfort zone rocks because it boosts your confidence quite a bit. It's better than being an overly cautious stick in the mud!

It depends on whether I think it's necessary to do it or not. If someone really needs help, then I help even if it means getting myself into an uncomfortable situation. But when there's really no direct NEED for me to get involved in something that is out of my comfort zone, I avoid getting involved.

This is an interesting question for me, because I struggle with a social anxiety disorder - sometimes it feel like almost everything is out of my comfort zone. It's hard to call friends, hard to go out, hard to go to school every day... sometimes I even have a hard time talking to my boyfriend! I go outside my comfort zone every single day. If I didn't I'd never leave the house!

Gosh, I've done a million things out of my comfort zone! If I didn't, I wouldn't be where I am today. You can't go through life living in one place, sooner or later you've gotta get up and move.

If I'm afraid of something, it's the thing I do first! Comfort Zone; why put "boundaries" on yourself that will keep you closed in when you can expand and stay on your feet......maybe even glide a little.

You can't get through life without leaving your comfort zone now and then. And you can't really die without leaving it, either.

Sure, I grapped the opportunities whenever they are presented to me. A good learning process. You learnt new things and ultimately it benefits you. Go for it when it's presented to you the next time ... enjoy!
