I went into a starbucks tonight in houston. (westheimer and montrose area). There was this blonde female with glasses who was soo RUDE. I came into the store and she just stared at me rudely. Then when I approached the counter she refused to make eye contact with me. I greeted her with one big smile and one enthusiastic "HELLO" but she refused to look at me. Then she glared at me when I placed my order. I paid her, she just scowled at me and handed me the change WITHOUT SAYING ONE WORD. She then proceeded to make my drink. She handed me the drink and the cap fell off and the drink spilled on my hand and she just scowled at me. Regardless, I was nice to her and polite but I feel it was her job to do that to me. What kind of customer service is that? RUDE RUDE RUDE woman.

Can you shut them up, without being rude yourself? Let's just say that you are sensitive and believe that advice and opinions (uninvited) are rude and even hurtful. What is a polite, but 'clear' message for those who think they are 'helping' you?

If they do, there's only a few, so they won't be eating much of you!

Would it be uncomfortable if you are already in there and you say "Yes"? Someone turns down your bed while you just sit there. I mean how hard can it be?

I was posting my last question about the dog assaulting me and 10 minutes later the door bell rang and Argus was standing there. He hocked really loud and spit on me but I dont care im just glad hes here. He told me that Wilma his mistress was sleeping with his sister and he left her and he misses me. Stinky was so happy even though Argus tried to cook him a month ago. Doe Doe didnt car emuch because hes depressed over getting shaved.
Argus told me that hes back for good but could change is mind. Im cooking battered Fried chicken skin gravt for him now with some tuna. Oh God Argus is holding stinky under the sink now and running hot water on him. I think hes trying to eat him again.
Stinky is screaming and argus is trying to pluck him.
I guess Im going to have to kick him out again.Even DoeDoe is trying to help stinky and doe doe barely does anything. I have to go now. Just when I thought Argus will play with my noony ,now hes going to have to leave again. Dont mess with stinky

I used to walk one particular pavement on my way to the Underground. It was narrow, but broad enough for three women to walking abreast. On a number of occasions I had to step into the road into the face of oncoming traffic to get past them (they were coming towards me), and on a number of occasions the look I was given seemed to be 'hostile.' Also, walking through shop doors: I stand and hold them open, and so few women (and some men) ever bother to acknowledge me efforts with a 'thanks.'

There is maybe no answer, but I want to register my resentment at this, the rudeness or indifference.

I've heard that some don't. If you don't, why not? I can learn something here. I ALWAYS do only because I think it's such a gentlmanly thing to do. Seems like gentlemen are a dying breed and I like to thank the ones who are still at it...

Let's say I am at a business meeting where food has been served and we are eating while we meet. Someone arrives late and offers to shake my hand. This seems very unsanitary and inconvenient for me if I have excuse myself to wash my hands again. Can I claim a handshake exemption in this case?

She is very unorganized. Stuff all over the place, her bed has nothing but clothes on it. The house looks like crap, she has a dog and I told her to brush it, and she doesn't so on top of that we have a bunch of dog hair on the floor. I always have to organize whatever I can. Whenever I tell her this, she gets very pissed. Please tell me what I can do, and don't tell me to move out, legally I can't. I'm a dude and can't stand it, most guys don't care about messy places, but this is bad.

I propose a new rule for eating steaks. When you get down to the last tasty morsels in a T-bone, near the bone, go ahead and pick it up and nibble. The best meat is near the bone and trying to use a knife and fork to clean it off is inadequate, funny looking and awkward. Don't let the best part of the cow go to waste--grab it and enjoy it.
