I want to dance at school dances, but I don't know how. Tips?

No one instinctual knows how to dance but don't be shy get out there and copy what the others are doing for that;s the only way that you'll learn If you're a bit awkward for have no idea what your natural rhythm is-we all have some-perhaps someone laughs-NEVER MIND that just take it good natured and keep on dancing. You can also turn onto MTV or VH1 or Country(don't know what area your school is in) and watch some of the dance videos(Rap Videos-dancers are all pros and don't think schools allow for tend to be too N.... .) If you can afford take some dance lessons-you can find dance studios in the yellow pages. But as long as you can shake and move a little you'll be OK. Dancing is great-frees your body-so go out on that dance floor and have Fun for ultimately that what dancing should be letting your body move to the music and having fun.

most peepl dont dance, they just lean against the wall and try to look cool, but if u r actually gonna dance try watching movies like sleepover(i dont care if u r a guy, its still a funny movie) that show dances and peepl at them

step1 avoid stepping on the persons feet, step2 don't hog the lead occasionally let Ur partner lead,step3 let Ur feet move with the rhythm of the music, step4 when dancing with Ur partner u stand close but not 2 close. if all goes well Ur partner might ask 2 dance with u again!

yeah it can be kinda awkward at first if u dont know what do u
just kinda hang out with your friends and have a good time. Just don't, you know, jump up on the tables and do the macarena or anything like that. haha.

if you notice, how people today dance, you shouldn't have any problem.. just have some JAMAICAN RUM, and shake. follow the crowd
