My husband has been a little gripey lately...getting on my nerves...I used his mustache trimmer to trim the hair around my shihtzus eyes and nose. Should I feel guilty?

No. Just sit back and laugh when you see him use it and it will make putting up with his gripeyness a lot easier!

NO!

It will give you satisfaction to know...the next time he's being gripey at you that his mustache trimmer was on the dog. I think sometimes we women need some type of outlet. Man, those men just think they are the sh*t.

I'm looking at these ideas (esp. toothbrush) for my hubby who left me alone the whole evening (four hours) to go biking. Baby cried the whole time. Then hubby came home and bit*ched that I didn't have dinner waiting for him after his 27 mile bike ride. **EERRGGG**

Now...where is his toothbrush...;))

No, why should you.. but maybe you should buy a trimmer thats especially for trimming dogs, cause their hair can dull the blade a lot quicker than human hair.. Just tell him your sorry, and you weren't thinking or something like that, and be done with it.. He'll get over it.. Get mad, get Glad.. lol

Ask yourself this question: How would you feel if he had done the same thing with your lipstick, or kitchen knife, or razor used to trim your legs?

May be you should not feel guilty but you really need to be somewhat more respectful of your husband

No. Men are grosser than dogs for goodness sake. It isn't like you washed your butt with his toothbrush.
Addition: please don't use anyones toothbrush for anything!
It's just a paranoid joke I have.
Trimmers are cheap and the dogs face? is no big deal.
My husband doesn't care if I try to trim my dogs leg hair with his trimmer. It is washable you know. It was not evil to do at all.

I'm sure he's agitated about something else. Of course there are "anal" type people around, germ freaks etc. Should you feel guilty? not in the least. If you feel compelled , apologize, then ask him to drop the subject because you're sick and tired of hearing about it.

Just let him brush the dog's teeth with YOUR toothbrush and then you can both share a good laugh and make up.

If you didn't tell him...maybe a little (just a little, mind you). As my hubby tells me the blade is dull and cuts up his face.
