I had a question honestly. Is being called "black"
offensive to anyone? What about "african american"
I honestly dont know. And would hate to offend anyone.
So what do you think?I have met some asians who
really dont like being called oriental.
And I know some mexicans who prefer hispanic. I have never
had the balls to ask so I'm askin now thanks alot!

I know funeral homes do this to prop the body for viewing....but I work in an ER, and we do it also (on patients that have passed away). No one seems to know why, we just do it because it has been done for years...any ideas?

She was really mad because I didn't remember her.

Whenever I am at work this customer comes in (real nice guy though) but he asks 'Hows the weather' each and every day. I am running out of answers to tell him and it has gotten to the point that when I see him I go in another direction if he does not see me.

Are families losing the ability to communicate effectively and bond as a unit because sitting together, and sharing not only a meal, but also sharing the highs and lows of each members day, is now replaced by non attendance for the meal or eating it in silence in front of the TV?

Do you and your family still eat together as a general rule?

Do you see no need to return to this once "normative" practice?

If you are already doing this, or are planning to start doing it, what time will you serve dinner and what TV shows will you miss NO MATTER WHAT?

Better still...what TV shows are so important to watch, that you could NOT all eat a meal together and share the days events with each other, because you COULD NOT BARE TO MISS these favourite TV shows and would be irritated if the family "TALKED TO YOU" during them?

Do i have a problem if i always have the constant thought to fight someone, fist fights and such. I always find myself comparing me to others wether or not i could take them on in a fight, even if their complete strangers. I dont go out and start fights or anything i just find that i cant wait to get into another fight.

An old man died in the apartment above me. He had no family or friends so it took 4 days to discover the body. A new tenant has since moved in and every time I see him in the parking lot I just want to go up to him and say, "Man, this guy died up there a couple of months ago," but that would be the wrong first impression. Or would it be the right first impression? I think it would be hilarious to see his reaction, but I know it's kind of tacky. Do you think I should tell him? He's just signed his lease too bc he moved in about a month ago. That means 11 months of living in a place you knew a guy died in!!
