Who DON'T you tip? Where do you draw the line?

I drop a dollar in the jar on the counter if the service is good when I buy my coffee, or if I stop for a pizza, I'll do the same. I tip service people, those whose salary is dependent on tips, and who would be hurting without them. I would not tip someone who installed my cable, or a mechanic who fixed my car. Those are expensive services, and those guys are paid a salary.

I tip valets, bag boys. I dont tip for take out in a restraunt. I dont tip the dog groomer. Depending on the Hotel, I'll tip the maid.

As I work for a hotel I think this is a good one .
I have to say us room attendants enjoy getting tips it is not easy doing 18 rooms and the tip help us smile .Thank you for those of you that leave us the tips.

I don't tip anywhere that I have to pay before I get my services.

It used to be customary to tip gas station attendants... not with these gas prices!!

it depends on how rich you are... or how good of a mood your in. if im in a good mood i'll give a tip to anyone who is helpful.
