Your in a public place, and you see someone you don't know with their zipper down. Do you tell them?

Ok here's the deal. I'm 20 and recently my mom moved out of our 3 bedroom apartment. So okay, she told me to get roommates so I could afford the place. Well after 2 months and about 5 test-run losers that never paid, I now have a couple and a guy living with me.

The couple was great for the first couple of weeks but now they are lazy as hell! They leave food all over that attracts ants and then when I spray the ants she says I'm going to poison her cat.

All of the other things they do are minor but add up to be extremely irritating.
-eat my food and not replace it
-leave food out and open so it goes bad/gets attacked by ants
-leaves their crap everywhere like a child would
-run the AC in the middle of the night
-trash the guest bathroom that they share

They are the same age as me so I guess they think it isn't a big deal, but when I mention it they say smart a$$ comments like "yes mommy." Should I address each problem as it happens or wait and hit them with a list??

Everywhere I go or who I talk to, there's got to be swear words (or sexual induendos) in there. I think that it's a lack of intelligence or a due to a small vocabulary. At any rate, what do you think?

And what situations bother you the most? Should something, if anything, be done about it?

...people have the tendency to act all "know-it-all" and make you feel stupid when you ask a question you don't know the answer to? Everyone knows something others don't - so what's the point of putting someone down just because they don't know something you do? It's friggin' annoying!

Like for example, if you ask "What's the capital of China" and they act all obnoxious and go "How can you NOT know the capital of China!?? What are you, stupid?"

Like, wtf? How can you determine what makes a question a "stupid question."

Grr.

I got a little too drunk in Vegas and got married. This was one month ago. The problem is that the person I married which at the time I thought was a woman, actually turned out to be a man. So this "guy" has been living with my for the past month. I dont want to look like a prick and call the marriage a sham, but I cant be married to a man, or a transvestite. Its just bad business. With a trans wife I know I will not move up in my company.

How do I nicely tell this guy to get out of my house, and that I never ment to marry him in the first place?... Tactfully...

I'm single. My sibling is married. I like her husband and his family. But the general trend is that they same to want to combine holidays with my folks and his. Most recently was Fathers day. I decided to just take my father to breakfast because I did not want to attend a fathers day cook out with with my folks and his there. I like them - and we are nice to each other. I just don't like to be on stage and I am shy.

I don't mind something big like Christmas or Easter - but I don't want to be roped in to a bunch of small holidays and endless cook outs and things like that.

Do you think I'm being selfish?

Also - what reasons would you give for not going to these events?

I go right (meaning, I move my head to the left in order for both right cheeks to connect). Well, yesterday, someone went left with me, and I didn't know what she was doing. I thought she was looking at my ear or something. Imagine if one person went left and one went right and they met in the middle -- it could be a disaster. Does this vary by culture? Does it matter whether you're planning on one kiss or two or three?

I was making elaborate Thank You notes for baby gifts, including great candid shots of the baby wearing or using the gift.
A couple of them weren't perfect and I wanted to redo them. That combined with being an exhausted new mom with no help, I set them aside for a bit and then procrastinated terribly.

When I send the notes out now that they are late, do I apologize?
Or do I just send them out as normal?

I considered writing the note from the baby's perspective, saying "Mom's been so busy, I thought I would finally write to you myself to thank you for the amazing gift..." and continue from there with cute baby viewpoints.

I don't know. How upset will people be that it has taken longer than I feel is appropriate? and how do I handle this?

I'm an organ donor because I think it might save a bunch of lives. If you're not an organ donor, can you please tell me why not? I put this under etiquette because I think it's only polite to help others whenever possible.
