Whistling around others would depend on what you are doing, who the people are, and whether or not you are a good whistler!

If you're in a good mood and can stay on tune; if you are with people you know well and are all working on a project together, I don't see anything wrong with whistling.

However, if you are whistling and someone in the group asks you to stop---then be respectful of their feelings and stop. Very simple.

It depends on the situation. At a funeral, it would be considered rude, but if you're walking through the park then whistle away!

It is if you are whistling at a girl or guy..Sometimes thats rude. If you are at work in a quiet environment, then probably. But out in public I wouldn't think so. I like it when the old men used to whistle when I used to work in retail, made me think of life having been much simpler many years ago.

I find whistling to be extremely annoying, especially when someone does it out of habit or nervousness. You know, that mindless, tuneless whistling that people do because the part of their brain that controls their mouth has been deactivated? ¬_¬ Yeah, that. Same thing with humming or finger-tapping. People need to be aware of themselves and control their habits.
