I was just thinking about when there was a little person in our house (we were much younger too of course).
The exciting preparations we made on Christmas Eve. Choosing which glass Santa would like best and should he have milk or something stronger, after all he shouldn't really be drink driving should he? Maybe he is fed up of mince pies and it might be best to leave cheese and crackers. Making sure the carrots were well washed for the reindeer.Teasing our little boy that if he didn't stay in his bed Santa wouldn't be able to find the right house. Us worn out and longing for him to sleep so we could play Santa. Finally get to bed at 3am only to be woken at 4am by little fingers prodding at you, to show you that Santa has been. The sparkle in the eyes of that little boy cos everything was magic to him.
Do you wish you could see that look in your childs eyes again?

great if the powers that be would relax community guidelines for the holiday time and let us wish each other Seasons Greetings?

Merry Christmas to everyone of you!

and the good he finds in this evil man now?

What is his motive? I am especially interested in hearing from seniors who lived through World War II.

Thanks to all who participate.

A man is sitting next to a woman on a plane. Turns out she's a drop-dead-gorgeous blonde! When they reached 27,000 ft. the plane leveled out and woman sneezed.

This would have been perfectly normal but for the fact that after she sneezed she shuddered violently. About five minutes later she sneezed and once again shuddered violently. Five minutes later she sneezed and shuddered yet again.

Finally the man had, had all he could take and his curiousity got the better of him.

"Are you O.K." He asked

"Yes," said the woman "I'm fine, why?"

"It's just that three times you've sneezed and three times you've shuddered violently almost immediatly afterwards."

"Oh, I'm sorry," said the woman "It's just that I've got this rare condition, every time I sneeze I orgasm"

"Oh really," said the man and being a keen follower of medical science asked "What are you taking for it."

"Pepper," answered the woman.

Last week I had a scary incident when a youth walked into my kitchen. It has made me think about home security.
I know I need a door chain and perhaps an alarm.

I thought about help the aged, but I dont live in an area
covered by their vans.

As a 49 year year old it bring me hope for the future, and should bring hope to all ladies in their middle years. Men are getting more, how can I put it? and what word can I use energy. A 91 year old lady in Scotland, got for her Christmas from her 92 year old husband, the wonderful gift of a pair of crotchless panties.

2007-12-23 23:29:41 · 20 answers · asked by Anonymous

I didn't.

But I have wrung out of MacTealc crumbs of information about the gift that he has for me for Christmas!

So far the scant information has me almost jumping up and down for joy - something that is not dignified in a well built lady of my age!

See if you agree with me as to what it might be .........
he tells me that it is substantial, easy to keep, admired by many, used to being free and out in the open under minimum cover, responds to kindness and petting - and this is the clincher ......... is a pleasure to ride!

IT IS - ISN'T IT!

HE HAS GOT ME MY VERY FIRST PONY!!

Yippee! Dreams do come true at Christmas!

I'm in my very early 20s and can be considered a youngling.

I'm wondering what's the biggest "If I only knew that when I was younger" revelations are.

What's the most important things you have discovered through life?

I answered with this question when I thought someone asked this question, turns out she asked plans for New Years eve:

I've a 4 year old to "try" to get to bed by 2100. Then I have to finish wrapping his last minute gifts and get them quietly placed under the tree. He wakes up very early these days asking me if Santa came yet. This year is his first year impatiently waiting for Santa to arrive so it is very exciting. Can't wait to see his face in the morning. I'm also going to place a few christmas lights up inside the house. Having a child changes everything. I'm excited for him.

What are your plans for Christmas Eve?

A little while ago someone posted a question asking whether any senior citizens planned to improve their educations through online sources.

I read a lot of QA over in the astronomy section. After I considered the question a bit I visited Astronomy to reassure myself online information sources allow us to really do some serious learning.

Here are a couple of questions that jumped out at me:

"Why are objects tilted when I look through the eyepiece on my telescope?"

"Are the planets in space like earth as far as having a cold North Pole and Hot South Pole?"

Good for a laugh or two this cold night. And the first one has a lot of potential for deep philosophic ponderings tomorrow while I try to build up the will-power to get out from under the covers.

Shouldn't anyone who can answer that second question be awarded an online degree?

And can you tell us why?

All the years I paid into Social Security I figured it would never last until I could draw a nickle of it. When, to my surprise, it did a couple of years ago it came at a time when I really needed it.

Gratefully, the wisdom of my youthful preference to not have to pay in was not an option.

But I still have a strong suspicion Social Security will go away a long while before I do, and before I get the dollar amount [without interest] that I paid in.

If I'm correct about that, and someone somewhere probably knows the answer, seems to me young people today are justified in being indignant about having to pay it.

But it was always a Ponzi scheme, and the entire shebang will fall apart unless a steadily increasing pool of youngsters pay into it to keep my check coming?

Is there something flawed in my reasoning on this?

I'd appreciate only serious answers to this. Not joking about
asking for a new car or something out of reach. Many people
will have a poor Christmas this year, and sales are down
nation wide. I heard on the news, they expect more customers
after Christmas, than before.

Ok on with the question ?
Do you like Poinsettia's?
Can you keep them alive?
I can't they always die on me.
Danielle buys me one each year and she just came in with me a beautiful pink one that had gold sparkles on it.
They must put color in these when they start to grow them.
