I was born to a white mother and a black father. I have always identified with the Afro-Caribbean side of my ethnicity despite growing up in a white environment with many white friends and my white mother, and would describe myself as a young, light skinned black man. This is due me being seen as black (and different) by whites.

However, since moving to a black area, I've realised that I'm not really accepted by blacks either. I'm constantly at the end of racial jokes by my black friends.

My point is, while mixed race people suffer from the same things black people do, the fact that blacks regard them as different means that they have no sense of belonging to turn to. Personally, I hate being mixed race and wish I was one colour. What do you guys think?

Americans aren't as bad as people think. Sure there may be some cocky people but there are A LOT of asians from asian countries that have usernames such as "Asian Pride" but if any american had a username as "American Pride" would be labeled as too cocky.. americans aren't greedy. Majority of them would like to help people. read this

Respondents were also asked to rate reasons for giving aid, as well as forms of aid, on a zero-to-ten scale, with zero being completely negative, 10 being completely positive, and 5 being neutral. The most popular reason for giving aid was to "alleviate hunger", which received a mean score of 7.71, with 77 percent giving a response of 6 or higher. Aid "to help poor countries develop their economies" was next, with a mean score of 6.42; 59 percent gave it a score above 5. I did go to college and have a BA. I have several friends who have Master's in one area or the other and because of this they put on airs. Like when you are in conversation with them they try to make people feel less worthy because they have a Master's. And will say well I have a Master's in whatever so of course I know what I am talking about. I always come back with yea but why you were in school I was getting a Master's in life and living. I am sometimes embrassed by the things they say in public because they are not being nice and are putting people down. What should I say to them to stop this?

Ok I live in Canada and at school the Asian girls always try to talk to me or stalk me!! I got blonde hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. I don't want them near me! They just want to impure my genes with their stinky dominant genes. I got rare recessive traits and it should be preserved! But all the White girls go for the Asian guys here!

My fellow White Canadian guys are falling for Asian girls, I cannot save them! How do I keep these yellow stinks away? Why don't they go down to America or something?

do you think its okay (if you are black) for some one of a different race to call you a '*****'? or if you are of a different race do you believe that it is okay for you to call a black person that? Even if you mean it in a "nice" way? The reason for me asking is because I hear soooo many people outside our race using the word but I don't think they fully understand how much that word has affected us! yes its a negative word but we took it and made it something SOMEWHAT positive...FOR US! i mean if you think it about black people are the most copied race on this planet. yes, we are. from clothes, to music, our bodies and our slang. I just feel kind of offended when i hear someone outside the race calling themselves that when they really have no idea what that word means and how it has affected us. But then again, we have made the word so popular that we really can't blame them. what do you think? is it okay or not? and PLEASE NO RACIST COMMENTS!!!!!! i just wanted to get other opinions

I'm not saying all and I'm not going to apologise for my bold statement. It's like a lot of Europeans and others come to England, which is good because they earn a living and they keep our economy afloat, but some of them don't even bother to learn the language and refuse, which I think is VERY disrespectful, if you came to this country then you came to live and respect english morals and cultural, which, duh, you should know the bloodie language! Then some of them want us to write lots of different languages on forms as well as english, but I don't think it should be done like this. People who live in England, should know and have decency to learn the language!! Also a lot of people who come from this country bring crime and insult our government/people and way of life, then why are you here? Some of them life off goverment welfare and money (our taxes) and bash our way of life...then perhaps you should get out and not live here!! I find in insulting and disrespectful!

Yesterday I was watching the George Lopez show and in the episode this one man moved into the neighborhood and George said he was racist against latinos. The man had a statue of a Mexican man sitting down with his head down and his sombrero covering his whole head. Obviously it was a statue of a Mexican sleeping, but I don't get why it was offensive.
