I am new to this country america and all of the black peoples call me honkey and i dont know if i should take this as the compliment or the insult to my face. Which is it, thank you bye bye

Well im British and i havent heard of Honkey....you say black people call you Honkey and i dont mean to offened Whites but they are the ones that make up all these racist words

honkey is a derogative term for white people especially in north america. read this page. I hope this helps.

Id be really surprised to hear someone use that term, it very very old... (Jeffersons). Its akin to hearing someone call a lady a "broad" lmao. a honkie is a white man, Id guess a little less offensive than being called a 'cracker'

honke is a term used by folks (mainly blacks) in reference to a white person == just reply you would rather be a honley than a donkey -- and duck!!!!
