Why are people so concerned about categorizing people by color? In particular, past great leaders and prophets like Jesus. People love to speculate about what color their skin was, but does it really matter? We know what culture they came from, which is a much better clue to their history and beliefs. We all look the same after the flesh is gone. Does it make their accomplishments any better or worse to know what "color category" they fit into?
It seems pretty racist to me, because most of these people lived so long ago, there probably weren't the same "race" classifications as there are today. So where do you draw the line? Is there some standardized color wheel to categorize people's skin pigment that I don't know about?
Besides, we can know for sure what color they were about as well as we can know what color dinosaur scales were.
