I don't think there is any problem with people dating outside their race. I have told my daughter many times " I don't care who you date as long as they treat you well". How someone treats you is more important than any other dating choice.

Explain why? Hmmm... I guess it is because I don't look at the color of the skin when I decide if they are someone I would like to hang out with. It just doesn't matter to me.

Keeping people segretated has never worked so there are no other options.
Further more how can you really classify people to a specific race these days?
There would be next to no families that could be traced back several hundreds of years and not have had a mixed blood introduced at some stage.

I don't believe in religion but it you did you would have to assume we all came from Adam and Eve and then we are all of mixed race then anyway.
I think everyone is a derivative of a different race.

I think it's perfectly fine.
I know i'm from a culture where most of the people say it's wrong to date outside your ethnicity but I've learned to be open minded and just see that they're people!!
we all live in the same world so we should be allowed to love
Whenever i get a boyfriend I won't care what his ethnicity is like as long as he's a sweetheart. And i know my family members would like a person with a good heart in the end instead of someone who is horrible
like hines ward said "Love has no color" :)

These days its more acceptable. I think most are finally getting a clue that color doesn't mean anything vs like 20-30 years ago and beyond. If your attracted to someones personality and also physically attracted to them why not. Plus we are all some kinda mut anyways. You asked to explain why, I guess they way i feel is if there is chemistry what does race have to do with it. Unless you interested in what your future mother in law can make for food LOL. Then again you might get mix answers depending on region. I'm in AZ witch is a melting pot of different races. I'm sure people are raised differently depending on where you grew up.

I feel fine about it. Why? Because I honestly can't find a thing wrong about it. That would be like saying that blondes could only date blondes, and so forth. That would be ridiculous, and I don't really see the difference between that and saying that people can only date a person of the same race.

Race shouldn't matter.........although there are alot of ignorant people who disagree. You like who you like and it shouldn't matter what color the person is..........only that they treat you the way you want to be treated. Dated interracially before and have a beautiful daughter from the relationship. Although it did not work out......it had to do with us being in different places in life and not with race. I think it is all up to personal preference. If someone is uncomfortable dating interracially then they probably shouldn't date outside of their race. But if you're secure with yourself and don't need other people's opinion to make up your own.......Then why not?

Totally cool with people dating outside their race. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Hi

I don't have a problem with people dating outside their race. If you're interesting in dating someone, then date them. Why restrict yourself to certain people based on race? Race doesn't matter to me. True love is not colorblind.

Honestly, I don't think it happens enough. Even though people are supposed to be equal in all ways, we still tend to segregate ourselves from one another based on race. Stereotypes strengthen this devide. Its great that people can date outside of their "race" which is a human contrustiion. The definition of race changes to best suit thouse in power. For example, Italian immigrants to this country were not thought of as white 120 years ago. Now they blend in with the rest of whites as for as race go, however we do acknowlege ethnic differences.

Anyway, more interacial dating, loving, family making, and less ignorant adherance to sterotypes which perpetuate this cycle of inequality based on race.

Well personally i guess it is okay. I think people schould leave other people alone. Why dose it matter who some one dates but in socioty everyone blows it out of proportion it is just a skin color! My dad doesnt like black people but that doesnt change the way i feel about them overall i think people should just get treated the same!
