Filipinos are considered both. I am part Filipino and that side of my family roots originated in Portugal. Some Filiponos have roots from Portugal, Spain and Asia.

Asian for the most part, but sometimes they can be considered Pacific Islander.

Asian = pacific Islander. pilipino = south east asian.

Both. Asian would be more common as the Philippines belongs to the continent of Asia.
