I been seeing this on youtube.com and they keep saying they strated the Gangster rap, low riders and etc. But I thougt us African-Americans strated the rap and Hip hop.

Gangster rap was started by black people in the west. Now the low riders and stuff was big in the west during the emergence of gangster rap, so it influnce the artist. Maybe those peoples claims are just based on the enviromental reffernces in the songs, i.e. hood, gun shoots, low-lows. Also they could just be narrow minded and not willing to look for the real answer. What they should do is just download other gang rap like Ice-t of N.W.A. Not just the same old North vs South.
