Not if they are truely KKK. I personaly think it is a waist of time to be friends with racist people no matter who you are.

I think anything is possible. I don't know anyone in the KKK and have read that it now has fewer than 3000 members in the US because most decent people do not support a group that hates other people, and a such a friendship could help the KKK member to leave the organization. The influence of the KKK is grossly over rated. Most people think of it from the 1960's when it was more visible.

No. either he is not your freand and its a set up or he is not sure about his klu klux klan status.
Or he could just be like several other white americans who love you in your face but as soon as they get around their own kind can't stand you, laughing at black jokes and what not and using the N word on a regular basis

Possibly. But if you are the black guy with the KKK friend, be weary of his intentions. Chances are, he is not going to be a true blue friend. If you really want to be his friend, talk to him and understand his involvement with the organization. If he has strong beliefs, then it's not a good idea to maintain the friendship. If he does not have strong beliefs and values your friendship, tell him that it makes you uncomfortable for obvious reasons and that he needs to define his belief system and follow through.

I suppose so but why would any black guy want to be friends with someone who is involved with a group that is known for hating black people, not mention anyone else who isn't white. You know what they say keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

I would question the integrity of a friend that was involved with the KKK. Also, watch out for your safety.

I am an African American Woman and I had a friend once who was a self-confessed skin head. He said I was different from all the other Blacks and I wasn't sure whether to take it as a compliment or an insult, so I let it roll and we are still cool to this day.

NO. the KKK don't like blacks, and their beliefs are very diferent from yours. So i do not think you guys will have much in common to talk about.
