Yes...
I am still out here...and I know how you feel...
I, too, wish to be partying with the astronomers (and we'll even let a few "astrologers" in for amusement) far from the maddening crowd...living amongst the most superior bohemian minds the 21st Century, rubbing elbows with the greatest thinkers of our time and any other...
Sigh...
I am here, my princess...but alas...another consort has captured my heart...and she calls to me through the forest...
The forest of love...
Chirp! (Did you hear that? I think that was her! )
Thunk! (an arrow suddenly sprouts from my chest...and I collapse to sit down at the base of a Joshua Tree, the last of my kind...slowly dying now...dying...fade to black...)

You are not alone. Resist!
I do not own a TV set and (if I can avoid it) never eat burgers (except if I go to the US, then, it is an obligation).
Having said that, the burger and TV culture reigns. Even in my country, unfortunately... But we still have a few gastronomes and many of us eat slow food instead of fast.

OMG I love the way "gastric gnome" reverberates out of TD's penmanship.

I'm just here to help up PocketProtector and drag him to his love bird...
They are there... amongst the maddening crowd. Most likely the cause of it. You just have to look harder.
